This month APC&TCP celebrates its 21th Anniversary

In May 1992 APC & TCP distribution was foundet by APC&TCP Computerclub.

With more then 400 members the APC&TCP Computerclub was one of the biggest Amiga-Clubs in Germany.

It is merged by the two clubs APC and TCP, to offer their members more.

If anyone has the exact date, please let us know.

The club was known by a variety of activities and through the floppy magazine NoCover.

You can download all issues of NoCover on the Amiga Future webpage.

The APC&TCP distribution was mainly established because the club had many programmers who do not
want to release their software through the usual channels.

It has sought a way to publish software as straightforward and fair.

So three distribution channels emerged via APC & TCP. For a PD disk-shipping to be cost-price, the
shareware full version serial with over two dozen of titles and distribution of commercial
software, of the club members.

Already in 1992 the first commercial software title Data Workbench and the 1990-92er edition were
published.

Since then, countless new games, applications, posters, stickers, mugs and much more was added.
To date, the distribution of APC & TCP is still active. Almost all published products are still
available and there are also new titles, such as roadshow.

And of course the Amiga Future is published by APC & TCP.

Congratulations!

So what did the two acronyms, APC and TCP, originally stand for? I'm guessing the A could be for Amiga, and the Cs might stand for Club, but ... ?

Best regards,

Niels
