AmigaOne X5K won't Auto Boot AmigaOS Now

** FIXED **
I booted to early boot, USB RESET in command line thinking somehow maybe it was affecting how my X5K boots and seeing some USB not there??? Anyway, USB Reset without any USB stick near my X5K haha and she boots direct to AmigaOS now!

See the video for what happens.

I had been playing around in the Early Boot Menu to attempt to boot from a MorphOS USB stick, but after tinkering in there, my X5000 won't autoboot into AmigaOS any more. I get this jibber-jabber about reset board. The video will show that text.

I can boot though and select AmigaOS from the early boot menu and the X5K boots to AmigaOS fine.

What did I do. haha.

Do I need to adjust or save something to autoboot from the hard drive after just tinkering in early boot?

I don't recall changing anything.

Thanks

TJ

Something is crashing...obvious question, is the mos usb stick still plugged in?

@Raziel

Nope, just my original keyboard and mouse.

I will disconnect all USB devices and only leave my monitor and power cord with ethernet left in to see and be 100%.

Nope, boots faster now to that text screen. Never saw the boing ball move so fast. haha.

So with only ethernet, HDMI, and power cord, I turn on and X5K screen goes REALLY fast now and in a few seconds I get that same text.

I will make a video to show. Will upload in a bit.

Fast Boing Ball (lol) with no USB devices connected to X5K per test for @Raziel.

Only power cord, HDMI cord, and ethernet cable.

Boots to same screen about reset board, just faster now.

By the way, I would have thought any USB settings would change after a power-down of the X5K. Wonder why I had to USB Reset in my case? Glad I thought to try it but.

To not delay booting too much the default delays in the firmware are quite small, some hardware, incl. USB, may need longer to initialise itself and therefore wont be recognised directly after booting. Using USB reset scans the USB ports again for devices and finds the ones which weren't ready yet.

@joerg

I figured a power down and start fresh would do the same, scanning USB and all, and my X5K would boot from one of the sata 0 or 1 devices, which is normally optical drive and hdd. Guess not. haha

Instead it seemed set on trying to find a USB drive no longer connected, at least to me.
