I think I broke my DDR2 ram yesterday :-(

How frustrating, I think I broke my DDR2 ram yesterday, on my X1000, nobody seemed to have it in stock anymore, it's just a sign that my X1000 is starting to get a little bit old maybe, luckily for me I kept my old AmigaONE XE, so I have that one up and running, almost forgot how slow those old ATA133 drivers are, and how noisy.

Until my DDR2 ram arrive, I will be running on a little bit slower hardware, I don't think it matters much for compile time though, not on my small projects.

Measure the compile time and do a side by side comparision once your ram has arrived...just for fun

Looks like my old ATA133 disks is not so reliable anymore.
ordered some IDE to SATA converters and a new disk, I hope it helps.
Just moving windows, feel its a major difference in speed.
(Technical its half the clock speed, so I should be as shocked.)

I got my AmigaONE-XE booting, but not so sure about the disks.

Hope I did not damage more than the RAM, I forgot unplug power cord, when resetting the DDR2’s, after CFE failed to find memory after a battery replacement.

Regarding Memory tests in CFE fails to complete, I read somewhere that this tests where useless, and did not work correct, well if test fails to complete then something probably is wrong.

Yes, memory tests in cfe are bogus, they always fail

I have no clue as to way, but my old AmigaONE-XE has stopped giving me read errors under boot, I wonder if can be because the disk has not been used for a long time.

In any case I have ordered a ATA/IDE to SATA disk converter, and new SATA disk, at least it should reduce seek time.
