mame

Hi guys is there anywhere a mame version besides xmame 1.06?

i have tha Amiga One x500 (sam460ex) and mame is slow, because i cant get any screen modes blow 640x480, on my radeon hd pci-e card.

So i need to know how i can get mame running on a 640x480 screen only,
xmame 1.06 opens any screen that he thinks sometimes a 1280x1024 screen wich is way to high to be playable.
