Anybody tried OS3x versions?

Implemented basic ftp support, working in general, it is syncing, when I press a button. Checks for other users and newer files before uploading/downloading. Deletion of files partly working...

have to implement:

- Dialog Boxes for errors...
- test on different FTP Servers
- Implementing "New List" and "Del List" also on server
- autosync when opening a list*

*Idea is: Sync the whole Dir before Ticklish starts. When saving, creating, deleting or loading a file...recheck on that file wether it is in sync and/or currently in use...

Testing Cloud Sync for upcoming Version on different Systems:

Move an copy list items to another list has still to be implemented....everything else works fine. Also tested a bit on Android. Sync works there as well

Testing synchronous editing of Tiklish Today List

I am getting close to a release candidate for Version 1.1, which will include cloud sync. Currently it was tested on

- FritzBox/DynDNS FTP Server (exposed to internet...)
- infinityfree FTP Server (free Webhoster plan)
- Reebex Tiny FTP Server (local Network)

Back on topic: Cloud syncing is realized in two different ways:

1. Once a todo List file is "active"/opened in Ticklish, it will be locked for all other devices you are running ticklish on. You can edit a Todo list only on one device. Once you are done, it will be available for other devices as well (see the video linked in post #22.
2. When using the "Today list", it will be different. You can open it on every device simultaneously. All changes will be written directly into your server based today file. Changes can then be retrieved via reloading "Today" on other devices.

I fired up different VNC Servers on my X1000, iBook/MorphOS and started OS3.9 in WinUEA. Which enabled me to record an demo video on Windows. Of course Video Editing was done with VIdeoClipper and SimpleSub on my X1000 .

Links to executables for Betatesting will be published soon on above mentioned website plus here as well...

Please test Ticklish V. 1.1.0 - RC1

Ticklish has now "Cloud Support". In order to use that one, you need to set up/have a plain FTP Server (unencrypted FTP). So make sure you have a look at the Readme.txt where you get some hints how to use it with a free webhosting plan on https://dash.infinityfree.com/
FTP credentials have to be written into ticklish.ini file...

In case you donnot want to use cloud sync, just start the executable, no settings inside ticklish.ini have to be made.

In the archive you will find executables for:

AOS4, AOS3, MorphOS, Linux PPC, Windows x86, Windows x64:

Ticklish-1_1-0-RC1.lha
Ticklish-1_1-0-RC1.zip

Thanks for testing and feedback.

No feedback so far about Version 1.1 (#25)...is there anybody who tested Version 1.1?

14th Feb 26: Found a bug concerning "Steps"... seems like I am the only one testing this...will be fixed in upcoming RC2

However, the Android Version is WIP, took me a few hours to hunt down a bug, which occured on my mobile only. We are getting there:

16th February: Found a bug concerning today list. Local today list will not be written to server, if tody list on server is 0 Byte in size...thinking about a smart solution....

Other than that, I am testing Android version on different devices....using AOS 3.x. No bad bugs found until now...
