Is Scout reliable for checking system structures like this one in OS4.x?

Can you verify the strange open count by other means, e.g. Ranger (if it shows that, don't remember) or a program of your own or something?

Best regards,

Niels

@nbache

It is an OS4 version of Scout.
But I found the cause of the decrementing OpenCnt variable: It is MUIMplayer that always opens bsdsocket.library (even when not streaming) but it also always closes it twice! So after playing a video with MUIMplayer the opencnt of bsdsocket is one less. So if you play a certain amount of videos it will become 0 and then I suppose anything can happen to the remaining internet apps that still use bsdsocket.

Software developer for Amiga OS3 and OS4.
