I should add:
Adding jumper wires to your power supply may not be "approved practice", and could void your warranty.

If the MCU tries to shut you down for "good reason", and you prevent it from doing so, then responsibility for any additional damage could be in question.

The photo is a 20 pin power supply connector. 24 pin connectors have four more pins. (Doh!) If your wires are color coded, Jump green to any black wire like the picture shows. If you don't see a green wire, OR if you see more than one, proceed with great caution, or consult your local computer geek for assistance.

A paper clip cut to a 1" (25mm) "U" shape works great. When installed, the bare clip is at ground potential, so not much danger of short circuits.

This "trick" DID help the person with a low Xena voltage. As far as I know he has to turn the machine on and off at the switch on the power supply itself, The power supply is ON whenever it has power. this jumper literally forces it ON, making the case power button useless.

But I cannot be held responsible for anyone who takes my advice here. Taking hardware modification advice from the internet? Do you really feel THAT lucky today?

If you understand what you're doing, have fun. If you're not sure, simply don't do it. And unless it's powering you down unexpectedly (or refusing to power up), you have nothing to gain from this hack.
