I installed the v1.6 distrib and tried V-MPlayer a couple times
(with reboots) on my X5K with its RadeonHD 6450.

Both times V-MPlayer crashed with a DSI without ever opening a
window. Looking at the stacktrace, the top lines point to:

module LIBS:bsdsocket.library at 0x7FB6F850 (section 0 @ 0x2582C)
module LIBS:bsdsocket.library at 0x7FB6F690 (section 0 @ 0x2566C)
module V-MPlayer at 0x79605FCC (section 0 @ 0x5A7EA8)
module V-MPlayer at 0x7960616C (section 0 @ 0x5A8048)
[....]

FWIW, I was using the play string generated by the latest
YT.rexx. Typically it's the last line in the YT log file:

T:YT/YT-Debug.log

If you don't see the file, make sure your YT.rexx has Debug=1.

Any ideas why V-Mplayer is still failing? Please let me know
if you would like a full crashlog or more tests.

Thanks,

PJS

It looks like bsdsocket.library crashes first, and then V-MPlayer follows suit. How did you test it?

And yes, the full log would be very helpful—could you upload it to os4depot for V-MPlayer?
