Possible to block certain news/users?

Just a question out of curiosity

Is it possible to block certain news/posts/users on my account?
It works on phpBB based forums (Hyperion e.g.), i wonder if it would be doable on here as well, since it is a hand-made forum?

Thanks a lot

i.e. click on a user and have a button "Block" beside the "Send Message"?
All of the stuff will be hidden for me only (with the option to reveal blocked posts/news etc.)?

Unfortunately, no. This is not doable with Xoops.
