Is there a simple why to find the motherboard name?

Does any have a list of different version numbers of exec / dos.
so it can be matched to AmigaOS4.0 predeveloepr etc, update 1, 2,3,4,5,6, AmigaOS4.0 update 1, update 2, etc.

Here is a good way of getting the machine type:

13.System:> version kernel full
kernel XX.XX (MM/DD/YYYY)
AmigaOne X5000 release

It's not precisely what you asked for, but the autodoc for version.library has this table for the version number of version.library itself:

The IExpansion->GetMachineInfoTags() function with GMIT_MachineString tag should work to get the machine model as a string.
