Drop downs from MUI cause lockups

Just popping in

Any dropdown from MUI will cause the application to lock up, the dropdown never shows, but the system never updates the graphics where it should be shown. Clicking on the are results in nothing happening, and the program does not respond to the close gadget.

Any ideas what is needed to fix this?

What MUI version?

Ok, on your Workbench right click up in the left corner and choose "About,,."

What does it say? Release 4.1 - ?

Does it only happen in third party apps/MUI settings or can you make it break in the demos as well?

There should be a demo for every functionality in it's sub drawer.

I've had it happen on YAM, Ibrowse and Odyssey. I will try the demos at lunch (at work now).

Happens intermitently, if the machine is on long, it seems to be less likely. It did happen with the demos as well.

That version is outdated, get the latest release fom MUIdev.de
https://github.com/amiga-mui/muidev/releases/tag/MUI-5.0-20210831

I don't get that specific behaviour, all is fine here with the above version

Have upgraded MUI (thought I was already on the latest, guess not). Will see if it still occurs.
