I have just found that KeyShow is not just makes visible the keyboard layout, but can generate keyboard input for other windows.

It worked eg. for the requester of the "workbench/execute command" or a shell window.
Not worked on NotePad or in any asl file requesters.

What is the difference of the mentioned gadgets to let or do not let KeyShow to send characters?
