The Queen's Footsteps - tips needed... (possibly spoiler)

Has anyone here played the relatively new text adventure named "The Queen's Footsteps"? I started to play it, and I'm now totally stuck in the first part... (But no wonder as I have not ANY earlier experience of this category of games, and my native is not english!-).

If there is someone here who could help me a step further, I would be most gratefull... I can give the details describing where I am currently in the game (or alternatively send my prefs file).
