Owncloud - a new open source way for us to access dropbox!
Just can't stay away
Just can't stay away

See User information
Check out http://owncloud.org/ it is a new open source cloud service.
The client code and all is open source and it has a lot of nice feats.

But one of the better features is that you can mount dropboxes inside ownshare so it's a nice way to potentially use dropbox from an amiga!

Now, who will port the client? :)

From http://owncloud.org/about/ :
Quote:
ownCloud gives you universal access to your files through a web interface or WebDAV.

So try http://www.unsatisfactorysoftware.co.uk/download.php?file=webdavh

(I'd try it myself but I don't have time at the moment)

Note the examine functionality is a bit broken in that version, so sub-directories might not work, but if you stick to the root you should be ok.

Hmm, it's another one which only works in beta2, need to figure this out...

Resized Image

Beta2 is here: http://www.openamiga.org/?function=viewfiles&projectid=63

edit I'm beginning to suspect neon doesn't like the latest version of libssl
edit2 right, I've rebuilt neon and it is now working with SSL again. I'll upload a new beta when I've implemented the new examine packets (although when that'll be is anybody's guess). Until then, please use beta2 and ignore beta3.

Are you using beta2? (from openamiga.org)

If you aren't, use it!

If you are, capture the debug output as it might explain what the problem is.

@spotUP

Register for dropdav and dropbox. I don't have time for that right now!

The log goes to the normal debug port, so dumpdebugbuffer should show it.

You have your URL set wrong in the mountlist tooltypes.

I suspect it should be:
http://my@email.com:mypassword@dav.dropdav.com

But it might need to be https instead.

Is it really https and port 80?
Try either http or remove the :80, not both!

Unfortunately the Amiga filesystem overhead means it has to make quite a lot of excess server calls.

When I finally rewrite the directory scanning stuff it might improve it.

Remember not to write to any directories as it has a tendency to not work or (worst case) destroy them - stick to the root until I get that fixed.
