Quake II won't run?

Hi all i re-installed quake II last nite and i t was working great but now whenever i try to launch the game i get an error that say's


"vidplay: Unknown command
vidplay failed returncode 10
Error: Error during initalization"

Anyone got any ideas as to why?

The vidplay errors are probably a red herring, since I recall getting them when Q2 was working.

You could try running Snoopy to see what Q2 is trying to do when it fails.

Have no idea what you actually done, but the program exec needs a link to QuakeII. Is it in the Appdir ?
