@328gts

Yeah, it's the annoying region locking.
Then it's about time to upgrade, It's another world.

I watched the chronicles of Narnia: The voyage of the Dawn Treader yesterday. Good movie with good picture and sound.

A little late to this party, but:

As you can see, I'm still a fan of my CRT! That's a 32" Philips CRT, standard definition. And as far as shadow detail, contrast ratio and response time, it still beats any flat panel TV under the €5,000 mark. Cost me €120 a few years ago Hooked up to that, you have my Pioneer VSX-AX4ASi 7.1 AV amp which is nothing short of incredible, more inputs and options than any sane person could ever need, and fabulous sound. It's connected to a suite of Wharfedale Valdus speakers and a Wharfedale Diamond sub (not in the photo). It supports an iPod connection with a TV track selection menu and remote control, USB connection as an external sound card, and upscaling of analogue to HD. With that I have the Wii, my digital TV PVR, and a rather nice, if a little large, Philips DVD player. I still need space under there for my A1200 jukebox

Mine is an LG 55" Full LED 3D TV, I purchased a while ago. Not at home at the moment, so no photo still.
