I haven't seen any posts describing specifically what the problems are. You can read my post in "Will an updated Radeon HD driver be out soon ?" for comments about a new compiler.

Yeah, I saw the Cygwin thread. At the moment I am preferring native compiler, it just feels more comfortable environment for me.
