As I also stated there are some other issues if you are going to use IMAP...

The author explicitely askes everybody to report bugs on GitHub here:
https://github.com/sba1/simplemail/issues

Even if some issues are double. Report it.
He is going to have a look at them in the next weeks.

Sebastian is returning to SimpleMail development? That would be terrific news. I had basically assumed that, like YAM, it was more or less abandoned at this point.
