Do we? What does that solve? Well thinking about it, I suppose it allows you to drag slecet a few items, then skip one and drag select a few more, which thinking about it would be quite useful ... but you would be left in a situation where you needed two clicks to drag multiselect, and you couldn't multi select individual items as a single click and release on the same item would still close the menu.


And your arguing against drag selecting so I think theoutcome described above is not what you meant.
