Have since found the problem seems to be with the second drive.
I can get round it for the moment.
Under both drivers the error says something along the lines off to put back the drives/partitions dh1 dh0 whatever as data has not finished copying across. The partitions are there though but can't be accessed.
If I reboot and disable the partitions in the early startup on the second drive, they come on ok and can be used.
Alternatively, I can disable the automount option and just mount the partitions after the OS loads.
