Comments not showing in file lister

I can't get the comments field to show up in anything when I open a directory in a window. I have all five fields checked off in prefs (date. filename, etc., including comments) (sorry not at my Amiga now to give better detail on this) but a comment never shows up, not even a header indicating a place where it WOULD show up if it was there.

Just wondering because I'm working on a WB theme, and added a comment to one of the graphic elements, but it doesn't show for me.

The Prefs covers only ASL requesters, not the workbench file lister

But it would make a neat feature request to show Comments in WB file lister
