PNG Icons?

I know there was some discussion about these a long time ago, but I can't find any mention of it.

IIRC, there was a hack released that allowed you to display PNG icons under OS4. Can someone remind me?

Edit: delete "hack", insert "unsupported third-party add-on".

Do you mean the PNG icon module (png_im.lha on OS4 Depot) that was done by Massimo Tantignone to go along with OS4 Final?

Of course, that is not a hack; but that's the only thing I can think of (other than "PowerIcons").

That might be it. In any case, the problem is that I have an app to test that has png icons and I can't see them. So really the question should be: "What add-on do I need to be able to see these png icons?"

Give this a try:
http://os4depot.net/share/library/misc/png_im.lha

As it says in the ReadMe:
"Copy png.iconmodule to the LIBS:IconModules/ directory and reboot."
