What happens if you boot Workbench from floppy? Is the SCSI box terminated correctly? The A3000s I used to use at work in the 90s would misbehave terribly with incorrect bus termination.

Anybody have any suggestions as to which IDE to SATA adapter to use?

Can I use an IDE to SATA adapter on the internal IDE of my A4000D? If so, what's the largest disk I can use? It has 3.1 roms and OS3.1 installed - I could get 3.9 if that would help.

I have a completely stock CDTV which I'd like to connect to my living room TV via VGA or HDMI to play old games. What current hardware can I add to it to expand it? I'd like to add a CF slot to boot WB and run WHDload games on it so presume I'd need more memory.

I still have the joystick port schematics so can make an adapter up easily.

The Amiga Revival show was very well attended far exceeding the number of people I thought would turn up.

Would people be interested in a Bring 'n' Buy type event? The Amibay forum is thriving with Amiga stuff still going for good money, but people often complain about shipping costs and sending old fragile kit in the post.

Does the composite video output of the Micro A1 do anything? I get a 60hz sync but no display output. Any ideas?

I do have it disabled otherwise the A1 boots in 1600x1200x24 even if I save a lower resolution. I'd use that resolution if it wasn't so slow.

Thanks Chris. My monitors are NEC Multisync LCDs so can handle any resolution up to 1600x1200 and any frequency from 15.6khz upwards.

I've found that if I select anything less than 1024x768 part of the UAE screen is missing; 1024x768 has a huge border and the bottom of the screen is corrupt.

According to the bar at the bottom of the screen the emulation is running at around 20% or lower.

Hello all.

I have copied Battleduel onto my Micro-A1 from a backup of my old A4000. After a bit of fiddling the game works but the sound is choppy. I've told the game to use AHI but the results are no better.

Is there a setting I need to change elsewhere?

Yes, I remember now: when I upgraded my linux server by default it had ssh v1 disabled which killed AmTelnet. I seem to remember that was when I switched my A4000 off for the last time.

Can I change the colour of just the newshell window without changing other default colours?

Is there an SSH client for OS4.1? Something like the old AmTelnet would be good.

There is/was an AGA version of Tornado which didn't require a dongle to run.

The battery was removed years ago and has not leaked. I used to run a script to get the time via Envoy from my A4000T.

My current A4000/TrexxII does the same. My previous A4000 with TrexxII and slightly higher rated PSU was fine, so I've put it down to either the PSU or some A4000 revisions.

Agreed. We had by far the best area at the show and, unlike the other exhibitors showing museum worthy novelties, we had machines we actually still use every day and had new offerings for the future.

Did anyone else notice how many Amigas were on show around the grounds?
