I'm using DOpus time to time. Also on Icoaros I switched to Wanderer.
The main reason is the number of buttons available for which I do not know the behavior. Then before doing irreversible actions I don't use them.

Would be great to have a tool tip bobble message. Would be too difficult to implement this?

Taking the opportunity to ask for help

On the upcoming version of VMT I'm planning to add the possibility to add reminders to AOrganiser, but I have a couple of problems. I already asked directly help to Broadblues but, despite his advises I did not solved my problems.

First of all I never used Arex, so probably I'm missing some relevant fact.
Secondly I'm using the latest free version of AOrganiser (sorry broadblues). 1.4
For what I understood from Aorganiser manual and Arex, to add an entry I generate and run a small arex program structured as follow:

ADDRESS DIARY
' Add DATESTRING/31-12-18, TITLE/Promemoria aggiunto da V.M.T., NOTE/Promemoria aggiunto da V.M.T.**Fiat 500L Targa AA000AA**Scadenza Collaudo'

It obviously does not work and I'm getting an arex error that actually can't remember as I'm not at home.

For sure in this example is wrong the date format. The manual states that should be an extended format according to the nationality catalog. This is giving me a first problem as I should have on all the catalogs with the translation for the months (at least in Hollywood I do not know how to retrieve it from the system). I would ask Broadblues to consider to give the possibility to use a data in short format as per mine erroneous example. (it would be great to have it on the 1.4 version as well).

Should AOrganiser up and running when I run the arex script or not?

If someone could try to copy and execute above example and show me where it is wrong it would be really appreciated. Actually I'm stuck on this problem for releasing the updated version of my program.

I'm not a coder, but I think you should first refer to the Aros sources for similar/same stuffs to understand how it works vs linux. This would be the closest example.

I'm getting problems since FEU1. I lost the context menu shortcuts.
I tried to reinstall everything from scratch (version 2.8) and the installer freeze the wb and I have to reset the machine.
I think it is a problem link to the installer itself. Is Ztools using a specific one or may be some dirty installation on my set-up?

R7 250 LP (11215-06-20G) on sam 460 works great

What I really would like to see in a new release would be a tip message over the buttons. This would help a lot the occasinal users like me. I do not use the buttons because I'm not sure on what is their functionality. This limit a lot the experince. Hope this is not a really heavy modification.

I passed from the 440-667 to the 460-1100 and I can say that, for the daily use, the difference there is but it is not so huge

Jut installed v.1.5 and it is fine but I have a couple of comments all related to the installation proces.

The install process needs to be improved considering to add the update option. Should be taken in account the selection done in the first installation and avoid to repeat the selections for the directory, context menu etc. Moreover the general install program sgould show wihch tools you have installed (I have installed not all them) and the current version to avoid to install an already updated one.

Installed and woks great. Only one remark; it overwrote all my previous settings, then I had to reconfigure it completely.

If this is the case, what about to keep releasing an older version (may be with a gap of 3 releases) of your tools trough amiupdate anyway?

PS it is not matter of money, I'm just waiting for my FE copy, but this would attract new buyers

If I remember well there was some OS limit for fully integrate filer into the OS. It was something like not possible to copy files between filer window and wb window.
With FE this limitation has been resolved?

You misunderstand my request. I do not propose to resurrect old features or change grim behaviour, I simply proposed to print a title in the grim window or change the window name to have a different feeling. For the developers this is a 1 minute task, then can continue with the useful things.
