@JosDuchIt

there was a bug in TextEditor.mcc that has been resolved. I think 15.31 is the latest version that is stable.

@COBRA

I have a grim with OWB 3.17 and www.sasg.com (that can be continued). I have not posted this as a bug, because someone on IRC tested this and had no problems with it.

@ssolie

It would be nice if one could change priorities of running tasks. An inbuild KillWinGUI would be an idea too.

Re: Which mp4/mp3 player on A1/OS4 ?

@yescop

I have an archos xs202. This player is recognized by my AOne, but I had to change the settings from "Windows" to "external harddrive". Have a look on the settings of your player, maybe thats also possible. But as long as the AOne only has USB1.1 and problems with many large files to transfer I would recommend you use a PC for filetransfer..

@Mikey_C

I dont want to start a discussion, I think its simply not possible to teach C programming and Amiga API in one day. It would be better only to focus on the Amiga API for people that have already written some code on other platforms. As I am from southern germany I cannot visit this meeting.

I calculated a value of 768*576*32*50/8 = 88,5 MByte/s

this is too much data for a 33MHz clocked bus.

320*200*32*50/8 = 12,8MByte maybe this is why small resolutions do work.

You can try to use more, the little shell based text viewer to look into your binary. If you find some words like rar or zip or any other filetype within the first lines you know what kind of type your exe is. Same would be possible with a hex viewer, but more does not load the entire file to ram...

When started from shell it always says

AmiVNC - main : Log file open error (0)
AmiVNC session closed
AmiVNC halted

I tried amivnc4 -logfile=ram:bla and some other things, but it always halts.
At least I could not recompile it, because I miss rules.make

More docs can be found at amivncs website http://s.guillard.free.fr/
