Hi Swoop

Sorry I can't be of much help. I have installed this card

Digitus USB 2.0 PCI Card 4 + 1 Ports Model Number: DS-33220
Digitus USB 2.0 PCI Card 4 + 1 Ports

Features

? 4 x external USB 2.0 type A/female (480Mbps)
? 1 x internal USB 2.0 type A/female (480Mbps)
? Chipset: NEC 720101
? Supports USB high speed (480Mbps), full speed (12Mbps), and low speed (1.5Mbps) data transfer modes
? Compliant with USB specification revision 2.0
? Supports hot-swapping
? Operating systems supported: Windows 2000 / XP / Vista 32-bit/64-bit
? Accessories: 1 x manual

And it works with no problems - no drivers have been commented out and the front ports work as well (haven't checked the back ones but they are still turned on in UBoot)
This is on an A1XE - G3 800
I have recently had all sorts of disk problems but found my PSU was failing.

@kvasir

I use an Acer S60 that is running Palm OS 4.1 coincidently My A1 is also running OS 4.1 update 1.
I use SBase4 Pro off CU Amiga CD-Rom 22 mainly because I have records dating back to 1993.
It would be great if your software could link the two.

@Skov @All
I have been getting the Grey Screen with the workbench title and movable mouse pointer on my G3 A1. I was able to reboot and dump the debug buffer which shows diskimage.device has crashed

@daveyw

To get audio with your video stream using ffmpeg try setting the audio codec to copy. At least it works here - sort of - Mplayer plays the clip with sound but the JC Matthews digital photo frame only plays the video although it should handle sound as well
