I also finally got round to installing Enhancer 2.2 (I thought I already had!), and I can no longer change the skin for Calendar.

No matter what I select, it goes back to the default.

Update: closed it, opened old Calendar and it correctly displayed the old skin. Closed it, re-opened new Calendar and it now displays my chosen skin.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Today I started Aeon's Updater, but noticed that My Purchases is now empty.

I should be seeing Enhancer, Emotion, PPaint and Sketchblock in here.

Also, when I try to start Amistore, I get a series of errors "Error downloading countries data", "Error downloading publishers data" and "Error initialising product catalog", and then it quits.

Can someone tell me what advantages the V5 provides? I understand it supports GART, what is this?

Currently on Enhancer 2.2 on my X5000 with RX card and performance is good, although might be nice to go back to by 7850HD so I can run Linux again.

I am not a developer, but I understand the basics of Agile methodology and use Jira in my everyday job.

I think you will need more than just a Scrum board, you'll need a scrum master as well. Will you also do sprints, or use waterfall? It would be hard to organise such a disperate group of people.

There's the possibility that the drives won't work on Amiga.

I have a bunch of cheap USB sticks I got from work, none of them work on my X5000. Very similar to your situation, I plug them in and they don't mount.

BTW, if any Devs are reading this, I would be happy to send you one to investigate why OS4.1 doesn't recognise it.

Do you have another USB that you know for sure works with your Amiga, and have tried it?

I think I recall from another thread that you had your machine open and doing some work on it. If so, you might want to check the USB cables are firmly plugged into the motherboard.

I would still try and contact Amedia. They may be able to send you a replacement. I don't suppose there was any kind of insurance on the delivery you can claim back?

The RX 500 Polaris cards are the most powerful GFX cards you can get for the X5000, so I would recommend trying to get a replacement, either the RX550 or the RX560. The latest version of Enhancer allows video players such as Emotion to access the GPU hardware, so you can play 1080p video smoothly. The downside is that you lose the ability to soft-boot the machine, and there's no Linux or MorphOS drivers so you won't be able to use alternate OSes (although I think Skateman may have a complicated workaround for this?).

Failing that, I would go for a Southern Islands card (7xxx HD). I believe they will eventually get access to GPU hardware, plus they can be soft booted and will run Linux (although not MorphOS). I used to have a Radeon 7850 HD which was a good card.

I thought about that, but am loathe to take such an expensive option, especially as i invested in such a good one when i built it.

First, I would contact Amedia for support. They built it, and presumably they did some QA before shipping it.

I built my own X5000 with a motherboard shipped from Amigakit. I had sourced a Radeon HD 7860 and connected via HDMI but it wouldn't boot past the splash screen. I took a 5450 from a SAM and it booted. Somehow, I eventually got the 7860 working, initially thru DVI and finally HDMI.

Would you be able to try a different card, maybe the one from your 5020 as you know it works?

It has become semi-regular for me. I was experiencing it every few minutes. Re-plugged the power cable to the motherboard and it largely solved the problem but after a day or so powered up, it will st switch itself off.

On my X5000 I run Odyssey off SFS and my website icons disappeared along time ago, but haven't investigated it.

The new file requester is very cool, I do wish we had a system-wide requester that provides previews of files, especially images.

I would kinda prefer to select the volumes/assigns with a single click rather than a double-cklick, but that's just me.

What happens if you spell it in full, NOREPLACE?
