There is only one slot on the motherboard .
A x16 PCIe compatible connector .

Right now it seems to be an issue unique to you .

Have you tried replacing the Updater program file with a fresh copy from the installer archive ?
Just to rule out the Updater having been corrupted on installation

Only other thing that I can suggest right now is to boot
with the stuff in WBStartup prefs disabled then try Updater

Ok.

hopefully last step :

go to SYS:prefs/Env-Archive/updater directory .

rename settings to settings.old .
Then start updater .

Check the server tab and see if you have a green box indicating that the server is actually running.

if you double click on AmispereServer in SYS:System
a cli should pop up with
"Amisphere_Server is still running."

Have to go step by step .

Did you upgrade the Enhancer package to V2.2 ?
if not then you can download the Enhancer 2.2 via the Amistore program and then install .

Can you restore the RadeonHD 3.7 driver
and see if you still have the crash ?
Or have you not made any changes with the driver version that you were using before the crashes started ?
