@Raziel
as I said, the copy/paste thing is resolved, I just have to use left ctrl and keep it pressed for about 1/2 second before pressing c or v - thx for the help though!

@Raziel
sorry for not replying earlier, hadn't seen your post. Everything's on SFS/00
@tfrieden
Using left ctrl and pressing it for about half a second before pressing "C" did the trick! One more question though, if you dblclick on a downloaded file on the dl window, in example lha, and select to open it with unarc, it doesn't do anything. Is this normal? Shouldn't it pass the filename to the selected program?

@tfrieden
about copy/paste: I also tested it on a clean system, dunno what to say.
about writing languages: I'd be glad to test it if you wish.

I can't copy/paste here either in RC1 :/ Also, wouldn't it be possible to write in different languages (greek in my case) before the final version is released?
In general, it's more stable than ever before :)

@walkero
Why is such a small amount of ram free? Do you have anything else running? Or is that your free video RAM on the title bar?

I suppose it's just as I told you, you needed a NEC-based usb card like that one. Glad your problem's gone! :)

posted with Timberwolf :)
So, I solved my problem by deleting some fonts from my dir. I've no idea how that was making TW unable to connect, but it worked. As a side effect, a problem I had with amicygnix freezing at shut-down is eliminated as well. I assume there must have been some corrupted font in my dir (?)
All's good now though!

Anyone else had problems connecting to sites with TW? When it tries to connect here, no other browser can connect anywhere either. Let me explain: I fire up OWB and opens pages fine. I fire up TW, it enters a couple of sites then it tries to connect to another and never succeeds. While it's trying to connect, OWB will not be able to access any page either. After I press the stop button at TW, OWB works fine again. I've done the font cache thing, recreated my internet connection, but nadda! It must be some kind of software conflict I've not found yet, as it works fine on my other, clean partition with update 3.
Any ideas? Anyone had the same problem?

@tfrieden + rogue
Is there a chance that at some point in the future, the tenfourfox jit js engine would be implemented with some effort or isn't it as trivial as I think it is?

All I can say is I had many problems with a via-based usb card and everything went to normal once I installed a NEC-based one. That was on a Peg2.

Just tried it, anyone else having problem with uidl? Although my uidl file is intact from 2.6 , it checks it and then begins to download all my 16000 from the beginning! Went back to 2.6 and the same happens! Any ideas anyone plz?
edit: oh well! I decided to bite the bullet, empty my drawers and start getting all my emails anew... :/

Both my NEC and VIA usb cards work fine on my Peg2, so, I suppose, they'd both also work on a Sam, A1 etc.... Also, they were supported before Update 3, albeit at usb 1.1 speeds.
