Thanks for using SImpleSub.

Preview should work by selecting a title from the list and clicking the Preview button.
What version of MPlayer are you using?

It supports this one:

It looks like maybe you are running an RX graphics card. I don't have one so I haven't tested the RX version of mickjt_mplayerRX. Not sure why it wouldn't work though. If you still have trouble then send me an email at the address listed in the guide file and I'll send you a debug build to try.

SimpleSub v2.0 Demo Video

Here is a demo video showing the capabilities of the new SimpleSub v2.0 program for adding subtitles to videos. It now uses ffmpeg as the encoder instead of mencoder. This has allowed many new features.

SImpleSub_Demo_1080p (~37MB)
SimpleSub_Demo_720p (~31MB)
SimpleSub Demo 480p (~70M - Slow CPU Systems)

If someone would like to post this to their YouTube Channel and provide a link feel free. Also feel free to post the link to OS4Depot.

Hi TJ, Nice video as always. The reason you HD7750 was limited to 60fps is because VSYNC was enabled so it will only go as fast as your refresh rate. If you use the VSYNC menu and set it to disable you'll get the true framerate for your graphics card. For example, on my HD7750 care in my X1000, the default shader does 75Hz with VSYNC enabled but 160Hz with VSYNC disabled. The screen refresh rate on my system is 75Hz. But your video did a nice job of comparing the HD7750 vs/ tej RX580. I have an RX560 card for my X1000 but haven't been brave enough to do the hacks to install it in my X1000.

Yes, I believe you are correct. That is expensive and about twice as much as I was expecting. I already have a case, graphics card and portible display, so I'll still be getting the A1222+ board as I'm putting together a small system that will be portable.
Considering the price of the SAM 460 I think the A1222+ is a better option.

By the way, have any early adoptors received any notification that the A1222+ is available yet? I haven't received any notice yet.

Also, weren't early adoptors supposed to get a discount on the board compared to non-early adoptors? Will the price actually be less than 1199 EUR for early adoptors?

Fair point to consider but isn't the X5040 about twice the price of the A1222+ and it won't fit in a small case. Personally I have been considering buying an X5040 as well but have been hesitant due to some of the issues I've been hearing about from owners who have purchased them. Not sure it's worth the headache given that my X1000 is still running fine. Keeping my fingers crossed on that.

Leave "Dave" in the past. It sounds like he lack passion for anything.
A life without passion is a pretty empty life.

I know well the expericence of looking back in life on experiences that you had a passion for and then you come to find out the person you were sharing those experiences with were really passionate about it. While it's dissappointing, it doesn't take away the feeling you experienced during that time.

Look towards those who share the passions you do now and enjoy your experience in the here and now. Know that there are others, such as myself, that use and enjoy the projects that are born of your passion. Most of use here share your passion and enjoy the experiances it brings. As long as you enjoy what you do, then it doesn't really matter what other people think. Keep the passion.

I don't know why you would post a response like this?
Is "MattyOS" supposed to be a derogatory term?

I posted about it in the YT.lha commensts section on OS4Depot, so that the author might see it and make a fix, and so others, who might be having the same problem, might go to leave a comment and see find the workaround.

In addition, I also posted on Amgians about it Here

I also submitted a bug report to Mantis on Sept. 30, 2022. Not long after my initial reports. Unfortunatly the bug is still open but I did do all i could to do something positive and bring attention to it.

Ah yes. It was the Enhancer2 version of makedir that didn't like the trailing slash. I mentioned that in the comments section of the yt download page on OS4Depot back in September.

Here is what I just did that stopped giving me errors when I visited the YouTube page.

1. Go to the YouTube main page and click on the little circle in the upper right corner.
2. Login to your account. (set one up if you don't have one.)
3. Once logged into yoru account, click on Settings.
4. Then click on "account" and turn off the "video previews" setting.
(Note: you may be able to change them without loggin in. I'm not sure. I logged in.)

Your settings will be remembered from then on, even if your not logged in.

Once I did that, I no longer received the errors when visiting the YouTube page.
Make sure you are spoofing as iPad 6.1. Set the spoofing using the Windows / URL Settings.... menu item.

Hope this helps. It seems to have solved my issues.

I know that will be the case with me. When I get my Tabor up and going I plan to try and find a home for my uA1. I plan to try and find some who doesn't have an OS4 machine, and can't afford to buy one, to give it too.

Exactly in r6 and r7 were added hardware-accelerated (by composting) media player. So if your card support
compositing you will be fine with it.

But to have youtube plays now is a bit harder than before. That is what you need to do (after you install r7):

1. Be sure you install youtube scripts in your "scripts" menu of Odyssey, and one of them should be replaced by a newer one from there:
https://morph.zone/downloads/YouTube_Fullscreen_Fix.zip.

And be sure in URLs you will be redirected to the mobile version of youtube (like on this video). And then, once you will press on that rectangle at the bottom of the video it will call the accelerated player, and make a video window how on the video. That all pretty boring and non-user friendly, but at least you can make
it works.
