I would have no problem to use a full featured (user wise) MUI4 with my MorphOS2.5 and have a usual non-full-featured MUI4 on my OS3.9 and OS4.1 machines.
I suppose it would even generate a (tiny) income for Stuntzi - but nobody knows...

BTW: I would like to have an updated Reaction/OS4- AWNPipe, pleeeeease.....

I attended the "Hannover Messe" industry fair in that years (only a few kilometers from my home). The "CeBIT" computer fair was a tiny part of the big industry fair in that days ... and I saw the first time an A1000 for real! Wow! Dream machine! But going to school and having no money I still had to use my trusty Sinclar ZX Spectrum 48k - desperately trying to make a boing ball demo on my Speccy...

From "directories"??? On my OS3.9 machines I sometimes did ADF files from RAD: but never from dirs. Making a RAD: should work on OS4 as well. In my OS3 enviroment I use TransADF - didn't tested it on OS4.

Is diskimage device able to actually *make* ADFs?

It's a *big* task - I wouldn't expect anything before 2011.

I use OWB as my main browser on OS4.1 and I'm still happy with it. I'm glad that J?rg works on it and updates it. I already donated two times and will do again, when I have some spare money.

I'm searching for original logos of OS4-ppc system vendors. While finding a logo picture for ACube and Genesi/BPlan is easy I were not able to find something for Eyetech. Was there an official logo from this company? Does someone have a picture from this?

Is it only me? Netsurf 2.5 doesn't show JPEGs anymore, it complains about a wrong version of the libjpeg.sobj - indeed there came a new version of this with Update 2.

Yep. Here are two OS3.9 and two OS4.1 systems (one of them with an additional MorphOS2.5 installation, of course...) - and the "nearly OS4" description is funny, but not something real.

While I assume most of the "BoingBag3" package a nice compilation of official and unofficial updates to OS3.9 (I didn't need it, 'cos I already had 95% of it already on my A2000's) I think the "BB4" approach stresses this topic a littlebit to much.

Further I'm no fan of so-called "abandonware" - I'm still not convinced that all of the packaged software is legal.

I really love my A2000's and I givem a hug every day , they can be real productive and creative machines, but they can't really be compared to OS4.1 (or MorphOS2.5) machines - and this is only the OS level, nothin' said about hardware capability...
