DvPlayer is nice, but you most register to get full featured version, that support all the video formats.

It just reports the safes and that is 68020, most 680x0 files will work including 030 / 040 / 060.

You should be careful whit install scripts on OS4, they might replace system files in libs:

better to start program, to see if it complains about some thing, and if so copy the files you need manually.

GTK depends on GDK, Pango

Pango depends on GLIB, FreeType (and some X11 stuff)
I think its is the font system for GTK.

GDK depends on GLIB, and X11 or Win32

GDK is wrapper or the OS glue code, skipping GDK you make the mistake of need to rewrite every thing in GTK, so that's not good idea.

Once GLIB and GDK is in place GTK should compile more or less whit out modification, it might be possible to drop pango on the initial port.

Thats become windows think about USB ports in same way it thinks about COM1, COM2, COM3 ports, and it as one to one relation between the printer que/drivers and the USB ports, this does not work where well whit hub based architecture.

SFS is extremely fast, and FFS is always extremely slow.

I think on OS3.9 SFS about as fast as PFS, on OS4 it will be allot faster me thinks.

Yes if edit kicklayout if in sys:kickstart, you can put ?;? symbol in front of driver that you do not need.
