I would also like to say that development-related suggestions might be better aimed at UtilityBase

Scroll down to the very bottom of the page.

You mean you don't see the smileys at all (you need to switch to DHTML form), or that the "more" pop-up doesn't work? The latter is on my list. I will endeavour to fix that before the site launches.

@Sauron

It's good to have a few people in before launch day, then when we launch there is something to read already and it encourages people to register. That's my view anyway.

Word of mouth advertising is a very powerful thing, as Commodore knew (although in their case it was mostly just be because they couldn't be bothered to do any proper advertising).

@AmiGame

I don't even seem to have an option to change the sort order of forum posts. (edit - oh, hold on, yes I do - and it works!)

One thing I know needs fixing is the two drop-down gadgets at the top of the page, which don't work on AWeb. (actually, I'll add that to my list now)

I think we should set the server to reject any connections from non-Amiga browsers

@Outcast

Perhaps we can make the meeting in a couple of weeks and go for a 3Cag Christmas meal or something?

Logically there wouldn't have been a meeting at the end of December anyway, so this might be a sensible approach?

Perhaps I should be saying this on the 3Cag forum instead?

@orgin

The images module seems to be using the wrong templates - can you check that they are the same as on the dev site?

It might be that they need copies of the unnumbered ones with 0,1,2 after the names.

@outcast

Actually, the bits that have been Amiga-ised look pretty much the same on Mozilla and AWeb (iBrowse looks a bit crappy though). The problem is that a lot of the site is still CSS-only (I'm planning to work on that this weekend - might have to give 3Cag a miss).

@outcast

Staff members have not been "upgraded" yet - see a couple of pages back.

The date format likely needs fixing somewhere in the depths of the Xoops code.

@Jerry

Various bits of the editor don't work on AWeb, such as the smilies pop-up. I'm more interested in getting the PM functions working properly on AWeb at the moment to worry about much else. (this is important to do before the site launches I think)

I'm still getting "You cannot start a new topic.", and no button to even try. Using AWeb here, but it works on the dev site.

Don't even go there... let us sort out this colour scheme first. I have a list of things as long as my arm that need to be fixed up in the next 8 days (and I have very long arms! actually, that's not true but I plan to get them extended in order to fit the to-do list on them)

btw, AFAIK the avatars are working... I just assumed everybody was too lazy to add one. It's working on the test site, so should work here, but I'm too lazy to test it atm.

@thread

If I click on "posts" on the main page, I get the delete button on my own posts. I've checked and it doesn't work, but it shouldn't be showing up if I don't have the permissions to do this.

@outcast

Doesn't work on the dev site either, it's due to the dodgy defualt JavaScripting. I have a better hyperlinking method for pop-ups which does work on AWeb. When I sort out the template for the PMs I'll make a point of fixing the links (for now you can just send a new PM and copy'n'paste the text in - not ideal, but it works)
