Boot CD for Linux...How to?
Not too shy to talk
Not too shy to talk

Hi ALL!
as mentioned on my topic on:

http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/v ... =60&viewmode=flat&order=0

ATM on my A1SE I can only install YellowDogLinux3 all the debina installers fail for some reason...
The problem now was that on YDL cant createa boot partition...
There's a way to create from AmigaOS4.1 a boot CD? Or also a boot floppy but I think a bot cd was better more secure and durable...
Maybe with AmiDVD?

Thanks.

@ALL

There's a way to use windows and tabs simultaneously?
For example...
I'm playing the TRavian game(any one know it?), and for map display was better to use a separate window so I can see simultaneously both maos and aother things without switching anything...
Tabs was better to open links or many other things(quite all things) but sometimes was better windows...
Got it?

Huh!? The AmigaOS 4.x port of OWB is very fast.

Just to know,
why scrolling was some times rather fast(ex: http://w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.aspx)
and sometimes really slow(ex: http://www.amigapage.it)?
Almost here with A1SE and Radeon 9250.
However OWB operativity in general wasnt so fast here...response times wasnt so good for a 666MHz cpu I think...
Maybe for a slow rendering speed...and maybe that was a fault of the original OWB not of the Amiga version(never tryed OWB on windows)...

A suggestion:
When iconify OWB why not use owb window title to name icons? If I iconify 2/3 or 4 owb windows I cant know how to uniconify...

GOOD WORK!

faster ????

hehehe it runs faster then firefox here

a decent flash player build ind thing soo wee can start to see all those news clip and youtube

but number one is filetransfar

Sure filetransfer was the major prioroty!

But speed here(A1SE@666) wasnt so good...ok its fast enough to use it but not to fully enjoy it unfotunately...but ATM I prefer to get new features that speed... ;-P
However if an hw acc Cairo was released(maybe one day...?) things goes well itself

A Flash support was however preferibly to that atm...

GOOS WORK TO ALL involved!

sorry no AISS at the moment, but in the next version of ScuiLib will be support for images/icons in buttons and I hope to make a gui theme more OS4 like.

ETA is unknown, the program is actually missing:
- Encoding Profile editing
- Tons of lame options
- Preferences
- The encoding feedback you have requested ;)

Well...

Encoding profile and all the lame options wasnt so needed at sart no? The program can work also without (just selecting bit rate and frequency and maybe the VBR)...

Preferences was enough in TolTypes at beginning

My request wasnt a prior need... :)

However:

GOOD WORK!

OK! TNX 100000!

GOOD WORK!

EDIT: ETA of first release?

EDIT2: if possible use AISS that give to the GUI a professional look :)
