@retro

imagine work well on AOS4.1 (never user AGA in imagine)
even the WarpOS part work with the last WarpOS
emulation.
For Scala I don't know but we have Holliwood, it has
even a Scala plug-in.

@Kreciu
about JIT you can also read this:

@Kreciu
I think that a JIT in EUAE it's a nice idea, but
on OS4.1 generally you don't need EUAE for
something that it's not a game, the 68K (with JIT)
emulation work very well on OS4.1 so generally
no need for EUAE.

Re: A4 PostScript printing woes with AmiGS/AmiPDF (OS4.1)

@Jack

I have to confirm, printing an A4 document with
the Postscipt (PS) driver the paper size of the
result it's letter.
This is with AOS 4.1 and happen both with AmiPDF and AmiGS
the difference is that in the .ps file generated
by AmiPDS there is the indication that the page size
it's "Letter" instead in the .ps file generated by AmiGS
the page size it's not indicated so probably when AmiGS
show the document it's fallback to the "letter" default
or at least it seems this way by my low understandig
of the ps language

So consider I have installed the NTFS driver and the TD64 patch, how would I go about mounting a partition on a PC hard-disk with it?

like kotler sayd, I used giggledisk to generate the
mountlist, the bad part was that giggledisk doesn't
recognized all the partitions on the hd, but was
a very complex one, on others hd giggledisk worked well

@COBRA

I didn't used NTFS, but used ext2/3 from the same
source, used only for reading but worked
well.
Maybe we can try to contact the author for an OS4 version

sorry to reading this thread late,
maybe you had set the sii0680ide_conf variable,
I had a similar problem connecting a new HD and forgetting
I had disabled the ide channel where I connected the HD

BTW what version are you using ? 1.5/PPC, 1.4/PPC, a 68k one ? In what condition do you use it ?
I have at least one person that reported me a crash editing a file with notepad directly.

I use 1.5/PPC (from OS4Depot), I don't have
crash, I use it to make backups from my AmigaOne and
a NAS server and sometimes to master DVD with
FryingPan

I get lookups of FTPMount if I try multiple access on
the same site, I know that it must not be done,
but sometimes I forgot I am using FTPMount

Re: Partition Size Limitations

@acefnq

I used a 12.5G partition to exchange data from my
linux installation and OS4 on my AONE with no problems,
so at least both linux and AOS4 can work with that size,
this with a standard 512 block size.

@abalaban

Hi,
nice to see you are improving FTPMount, I use it regulary
with my NAS server because smbfs doesn't work and maybe
FTPMount it's faster.

It would be nice if you can get rid of the limitations of
the "only one file can be open at a time".

Anyway thanks for the support

Router's/modem's builtin firewall is easier to set up, but software one should be more flexible + the ability to change the settings-on-the-fly.
In case of router f/w any change of port forwarding requires to redial the adsl line.

with my Nergear DG384GT no need to redial the adsl line,
I can change firewall settings and when I hit the apply
button changes are effective.
