@Dirk-B

Looking at the description on ebay you could well have an unsuitable one. In my A1 XE-G4 mine is made by Sapphire and is a R9250 256Mb DDR Memory AGP VGA/TVO/DVI-I

@tboeckel

This version seems to be working OK with NoWinED OS4. With 15.30 it reported errors.

Good to hear that you managed to register. Do not feel bad about it there are lots of sites that do not let you use certain email addresses.

IMMIC the advice was to re-subscribe your membership as these details where not carried over from the old site.

@BillE

Correct, 7.60 is the latest version. A couple of months ago I emailed zedonet.com, who now distribute TurboPrint, and asked if they had any plans to do a version for OS4x but never had a reply.

@jaokim

Buy the recommended Radeon 9250 card. Try memtest on the Memory module. Check for loose cables etc.

Re: OS4.1 bugs

@ all

I have just installed OS4.1 on my XE-G4. When I try to move
an icon of any type to a new position, I can move them in
any direction for a few pixels and then they go back to the
original position as soon as I let go of the mouse button.
I can move a window about without any problems.
I installed OS4.1 on a freshly formated partion with that
partiton with a DOS7 Standard File System, Fast File System,
Long file names, Block Size 2048, Buffers 500, Max Transfer
7FFFFFFF, Mask FFFFFFFE as previously done with OS4.0 as
there is nothing in the 4.1 instructions to say anything
different.

I have my SWAP partion set as per the manual.

As recommended I have a Radeon 9250 AGP with 256DDR Memory.
Tower internal is a single 512MB memory module that came with
the system from new.

I cannot see anything previously posted about this, so is
this a know bug that has been solved?

Re: OWB 3.9

@ all

I have just started to use OWB 3,7 and 3.9. I can use them
to look at my favourite websites and get to my email accounts
at both YahooUK and Crawler.com. When I log into my email
account at Tiscali.co.uk it states, Your browser does not
appear to be accepting cookies. Is this a feature that is
missing in OWB or do I need to install or enable something.

Have a look at:-

Go through the different pages.
Depending on the manufacturer, some are only compatible with Linux only, some are for both OSs.
