Can you confirm that having an entry "-vf screenshot" in "Extras/Additional parameters" crashes the program regardless of codec played?

@SZAMAN & TrevorDick Also can confirm here. Added:Also can confirm ANR works again with dos.library.kmod dos 52.2 (12/20/2006) Using V52.2, though, Can you both confirm error on exit? Quote: I've just spent a couple of hours trying to track the problem Ditto. I have a record of listening to an ART broadcast after that date though, and that's what's confusing me. I scanned all files (very few) added after that date. I substituted a few and still had the issue. It is possible that I ran into one of those cases where it worked that -one- time, therefore throwing off my analysis. Personally, on dialup, I need the rebuffering that this program provides after the 1st prebuffer empties. This is due to decoded data being pushed out faster than my connection can download new data. #6

@Billsey Quote: So, why is it that we must blame Amiga, Inc. again? Quote: Bill McEwen is not to blame,(etc.) Much like people have wrongly used "the Friedens" and "Hyperion" as interchangeable terms, "Amiga" and "Amiga Inc." as interchangeable terms, you are using "Amiga Inc." and "Bill McEwen" as interchangeable terms here. When you are talking decision making and corporate affairs, there is no correlation whatsoever. In fact, this has been pointed out innumerable times in threads on AW in great detail. #6

@Jack Quote: From Martin Blom's website: Quote: A new driver, device.audio, can be used to make all low-level AHI applications, which normally open AHI in exclusive mode, behave as if they used the high-level API which allows several AHI applications to work simultaneously. You need to install device audio and device from the AHI package. Once you have installed AHI and the most recent version of your audio driver from OS4depot: (1)AHI prefs select unit#0 and choose a HIFI 16bit stereo ++ mode that matches your audio driver. (2)Be sure frequency is set to 44100 (3)16 is ok for "channels" (4)Do not raise Db leave at +0.0 (5)Input: Line in (6)Output: Line out Current version of device audio is V6.2 btw. #6

@Atheist
Forming a usable system for managing information is usually a continual process. Since I also have deeply nested sub-directories for bookmarks in browsers, I reached the conclusion long ago that organization by topic was more practical than organization by filetype. I doubt I will ever settle on a suitable method, but I would be interested to hear about yours. Database?

@Swoop Quote: was wondering if it is possible in IBrowse to add the new bookmarks to the end, rather than the beginning of the bookmarks list when using 'Bookmarks/add bookmark'. I have thousands of bookmarks nested in rather deep sub-directories and use two methods to keep them straight. (1)I use "bookmarks/add bookmarks" (2)Highlight the exact place in the list I wish the bookmark to appear (3)Then when I add the bookmark, it's inserted into my filing system exactly where I want it (4)The ability to drag aroud entire bookmark sub-directories and their contents also helps in re-organizing the bookmarks. Invididual entries (as opposed to entire groups/sub-directories) can be re-organized in the same fashion. This applies to your quesion in the sense that filing into logical categories "as you go" makes for less work later. #6

@all Kurt Grach Quote: Do you have any PCI cards installed? sounds like a funny question I know. there is a voltage leak somewhere in the A1 design Seems certain PCI cards drain the clock battery when the AMIGA IS TURNED OFF. I have seen certain Cmedia sounds cards kill the battery in no time. I suggest you write to Kurt if interested, since he is the only one I am aware of who has posted this info. Additionally, we have more threads than I can count on battery issues. Here are some of the relevant ones being discussed in this thread: "My A1 is dead. Heeeeeeeeeellllllllllp!!!!" 2005, but contains some of the posts on the badly soldered battery holder on the XEs. Interesting to note the tremendous difference in battery life time reported by users. http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/v ... p?topic_id=14960&forum=33"Weak battery symptoms" 2005 again, but still relevant. http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/v ... p?topic_id=15693&forum=14"A1 boots with disk activity, but no screen. (This thing takes batteries)" 2006, proving the issues still exist. Your posts in this thread also indicate that. http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/v ... p?topic_id=17735&forum=33#6

@ssolie Quote: For reasons unknown to me the A1 boards eat batteries like we eat popcorn while watching the Amiga Inc. saga. Two different things. The XE battery eating begins with a perfectly fresh battery, if Kurt Grach's theory on PCI leak holds water. The Micro battery drain is nothing more than what sundown said. Once the CR2032 cross the threshold of 3 it drains more quickly (end of life). Think of it as a bezier curve or exponential loss if you will. #6
