Oh, a proper cd release with a well edited and printed manual and a box... Would pay good money for that!!!

What kind of internet connection do you have?
When I don't remember to turn on my dsl modem I get the same problem.
Maybe it waits for an internet connection you don't have?
Just a thought.
On the other matter, you're shure it worked with beta4, because when I changed to beta4 my USB-Midi connection to my piano went dead, but the other USB-Midi still works, with the same driver, strange.
Well, the modem is always turned on... And it has worked for a long time with pre.4... I installed the update the day it came out and it only stopped working a couple of days ago...

Can you make a fresh install? Maybe on a second hard disk to try? Check user starup and WBStartup.
I don't have a spare disk so I would really prefer not to make a fresh install...

Have you tried to disconnect all USB things and reconnect after?
Yes, I am using a MicroA1... And I have tried disconnecting all USB things as it's the only one It's really strange... Will try to connect my PSP when I get back form work to see if it's all usb devices or just this one... While we're at it, I have some weird problems with the A1... You know, normally OS4 boots like lightning but ever since I installed pre.4 (which is great!) it's taking quite long to boot. At first it boots nice and quickly to the menu where I can select if I want to boot normal or de-bug. Then I select the normal and it boots on. This takes up to a minute... Like it's waiting for something... hmm...

Thanks guys, but I should clarify...
It works perfectly on my PC. The error message is on the AmigaONE. Can't format it as it never appears on the workbench. I only get the error message...

Hi guys...
I have been using my MP3-player for getting files from my PC to the AmigaONE, and it's been working perfectly for over a year now...
Then suddently - from one day to the next - I get this error message:
(translated from danish) "The hub driver could not add the connected device"
Any hints?

Oh, I think that we would all like to participate in bringing OS4 forward. However, it hasn't been released for the classic platforms yet, and I don't know if you can use a developer cd for OS4. I believe that you need to be a betatester to run OS4 on classic hardware... You should be able to compile your software for OS4 on OS3. I know nothing though and this post obviously shows it. How sad...

I really support some sort of amigans.net bounty for selected projects. I am not as good at donating as I should be and perhaps this could bring in some extra funds for our gifted developers. I don't know how it should work, but we could have one big pool of money that would be distributed to the developers... perhaps after a significent version release? You could even sign up for a standard amount each month. 5, 10, 15 euros... So that we would know how much money to expect. It would quickly make a rather big bounty. Well, just a suggestion. And it could well be that I am the only one who can't get around to donate the usual way. Ferry's proposal would also work very well.

Yep! Will do! It seems like a nice site.
However, I probably missed the reason. Is this because AmigaWorld has become more... hmm... blue?
