@Mikey_C

Could we get English language donation sites? The OWB site seems to be in German.

I have a problem concerning xMAME and the screenmodes.
Some games doesn't adjust well with the screenmode when I
run it.
I have some screenmodes defined in the Radeon icon and Picasso 96 prefs.
So I can't play well the Arcade machines I think in low resolutions as 320x240 or 640x480.I have been playing with the Radeon Tooltypes and Picasso 96 settings but nothing changes.
Can anybody help me?

Have you tried running the games in a window instead of fullscreen?

OWB V1.20 crashes on This site (on my A1 G4XE with 256M RAM anyway):

PS2 game walkthrough

Older versions of OWB usually wouldn't scoll all the way down on this site but they wouldn't crash.

IBrowse can view this site without crashing (but it doesn't look as good)

Here's a link to the crashlog:

minor VICE issue

Just popping in

Whenever I run the OS4 version of VICE, I have to go into Joystick settings then into ConfigKeysetA (and click OK) and ConfigKeysetB (and click OK) in order for it to recognise my joystick/keyboard settings, even if I save my settings afterwards.

I have Keyset A?set for the cursor keys and LeftCtrl (to match xMAME) and Keyset B set for 2,4,6,8 on the keypad and LeftShift.

Could there be a conflict with the Ctrl or shift (or cursor) keys?

I can't scroll down the page at the following web site even with version 1.19. The page is usable in IBrowse but not perfect.

@Mikey_C

You may want to set up keyboard equivilents for both joysticks. Some C64 games used the joystick in port #0, some used port #1.

And for faster load times make sure 'True drive emulation' (under Options) is turned OFF (unchecked).

So now it should update itself and unarchive to the proper directory, right?
Thanks!

And thanks for the info guys!

CopyStore

Just popping in

I just found out via AmiUpdate that there is an updated version of CopyStore available. AmiUpdate downloaded it but couldn't install it so I'll have to do it manually. That's fine, but there's just one problem.

Where is CopyStore supposed to go? The docs for CopyStore don't seem to say.

I'm logged on at work and not at home, would that make a difference?

(off topic)

I'm sorry this is off-topic, but I'm not allowed to post new topics.

There is a poll on the main page asking if we agree with the SOI. What is the SOI?

(EDIT)

Never mind. I just clicked on 'results' and it said what it was (Statement Of Intent).

Minor FindMore issue

Whenever I run AmiUpdate, it says there is a version of FindMore with the same version number but a later date. Even after I let AmiUpdate update FindMore it still says the same thing.

Not a big deal.

Cool Avatars dude!

Can they use them on other sites too (like AW) or just this one?

Are these for anyone who requests one or just 'Power Users'?

One quick suggestion for TuneNet. There are buttons for Play, Stop and Next but not for Pause. I know you can Pause from the menu but a button would be more convenient.

It is up to the developer to supply the AutoInstall script which does the installation for you. All AmiUpdate does in run that script after downloading. If something goes wrong, AmiUpdate tells you to install it manually.

Contact the author(s) of the packages to get them fixed. There is nothing wrong with AmiUpdate itself.

When downloading a program, I suppose the AutoInstall script goes in the same directory as the program that was downloaded? For example, the AutoInstall script for MPlayer should go in MPlayer's directory, right?
