Rom's change from time to time when they get updated.

@corto

Yes I want to support isochounous too but as there are no driver that use it, i'm forced to focus on the other three first.

I localized the problem in my ehci driver now I just need to figure out how to fix it :)

@madmonkey

wow dident know that there was two developers ide's being worked on for os4.

That very nice indeed.

At the moment I use CubicIDE and shell to code and compile my sources.

This is what I love about Golded... It has syntax highligthing, text folding (I use this alot) and when I move the cursor over a function it writes the syntax and parametes in the bottom.. those three thing is a must for me, they are just so darn nice :)

anyway keep up the good work.

and too be on topic I can say that I code on usb2.0 from time to time.

Its getting close to being at same level as oure uhci/ohci and that means Control/Interrupt/Bulk working.

For example my ehci driver, I can start my camera and load the ptp driver that loads all the thumbnails. Some mysterious bug prevents it from downloading pictures and I'm looking into that now.

So you see I'm all most there.

@Atheist

Yes it was easy to use but it had an awfull pack ratio.

Pakers use a very simple method to squeeze files.

And becoarse its so simple its also ligthing fast.

I just want to say that you can't just transfer the money without people getting angry.

For example if this bounty is tranfered to a MUI4 port, I don't really agree with that. On the other hand I don't mind it tranfered to OWB, but not NewSurf.

So Troels, I really think you should ask ALL the donaters what to do with THERE contribtion.

either that or return the money to the sender.

@AmiKit

if you really need big files over 4gb you need a 64bit filesystem.

and secound jxfs is really fast. :)

Re: OS4.1 memory requirements

@AmiKit

You can't trust the free memory counter.

For the kernal caches it till it really needed.

So when a program frees a chunk of memory, the memory counter do not go up.

if youre really at the point where there is not more free memory, it starts to free up caches memory just enough to satify the alloc request. but the free memory counter is still not changed.

A there not any Amiga reseller that has some modules on stock?

I looked at Vesalia and AmigaKit but I could not find any in there system.

I must say 256mb is too little when trying to develop, you'll veryfast endnu with swaping/freezing and then a reboot.

Hmm, I have to investigate the Save.. last time I used it, it was fine.. I have havent got any bug reports about it before..

but you can change the setting from a Shell, just type this

saveenv SAVE USB/ptp.usbfd "DOWNLOADPATH=Work:Parparizzy/"

There is some more info about this in sys:Documentation/usb
