Hello to all. I'm glad that there is this forum which was needed...

I'd like to ask about the sound support on E-UAE. I have an installation with the latest AHI on my linux computer. It runs perfect but when I play mp3s with AmigaAMP or Amplifier, it sometimes trashes the sound and it runs slowly. Also when I move windows or other programs, the sound breaks for a while. I believe that there is no hardware support for decoding the AHI. Is there a way to make it faster?

I use:
OS3.9 with BBag #2 installed
AHI 6.6
mpega.library 2.4
Full Quality of mp3 playback
AHI prefs tried many different options but nothing better

try to reboot and keep the two mouse buttons pressed. When the early startup menu appears, boot with no startup-sequence. then see if the hd led is flashing, even if you are already in the shell. Wait until it stops.
then type
LOADWB skip

This starts the workbench withou running the files in the wbstartup and without starting your monitor config. If this starts, then something in your wbstartup sequence has problem.

Try to boot with the OS4 cd and start a Hard disk check n repair... Maybe that will fix the problem.

So that's the way that a good program like beryl could come to amiga? Is it possible with even the 10% of beryl's futures. I would be a very good program that could bring big interest for amiga by non amiga users!

I remember that there is also a program called caboom which closes windows with a rotate effect. So it could be done by good programmers?

But how can we install all these great programs on our systems too?

I though that there is a program for the MOS that does something like this. I saw it on the sputnik demo video a lot time ago! do you have any clue about it? Could this be converted for OS4 by anyone?

Not mounted you mean to remove it from fstab?

It is mounted as /media/cdrom0 on my ubuntu machine!

I found a bug with the selcocast streamer. If you start broadcasting with it works great and stable. But if you close the stream server, as soon as the buffer of the tunenet empties, it freezes, and also the whole system! I tested a few times and it happens always!

I also have a problem with AHI! Only the unit 0 and the generic can be changed. The other units do not work. And maybe some programs crash or do not work because of this?

great work man. I'm really fan of opengl screenblankers. Will you import any of these, like "Euphoria" which is my beloved? Also a few ideas. Could you make a bounching boing ball? Maybe it could be just like the Amithlon boot screen or the first boing ball in the history of amiga! Could you make a clone of the boot screen of an A1200 with the diskette going in the drive?

These would be great, what do you think?
