Usually you don’t have to reinstall an Amiga. Have you checked your Kicklayout?

Check the Roadshow manual; Try a larger TCP window size for example.

You can tweak the Roadshow settings to get better throughput.

Yes, it's the SST39VF040 I have.

Could it be that it is the AT49F040 and AT49BV040B that are causing the problem due to its "variable sector size" and option to lock the boot block? Or are other/all flash types affected by the problem?

With which voltage is the flash memory driven by the Sam460; 3 or 5 Volt?

Is a 39VF040 usable as a replacement for 49BV040?
