EasyTAG is an utility for viewing and editing tags for MP3, MP2, FLAC, Ogg
Vorbis, MusePack and Monkey's Audio files. It has an easy to use GTK2 based
interface. The X11-package AmiCygnix must be installed to use this software.



Features

* View, edit, write tags of MP3, MP2 files (ID3 tag with pictures), FLAC files
(FLAC Vorbis tag), Ogg Vorbis files (Ogg Vorbis tag), MP4/AAC (MP4/AAC tag),
and MusePack, Monkey's Audio files (APE tag),
* Can edit more tag fields : Title, Artist, Album, Disc Album, Year, Track
Number, Genre, Comment, Composer, Original Artist/Performer, Copyright, URL
and Encoder name,
* Auto tagging: parse filename and directory to complete automatically the
fields (using masks),
* Ability to rename files and directories from the tag (using masks) or by
loading a text file,
* Process selected files of the selected directory,
* Ability to browse subdirectories,
* Recursion for tagging, removing, renaming, saving...,
* Can set a field (artist, title,...) to all other selected files,
* Read file header informations (bitrate, time, ...) and display them,
* Auto completion of the date if a partial is entered,
* Undo and redo last changes,
* Ability to process fields of tag and file name (convert letters into
uppercase, downcase, ...),
* Ability to open a directory or a file with an external program,
* CDDB support using Freedb.org servers (manual and automatic search),
* A tree based browser or a view by Artist & Album,
* A list to select files,
* A playlist generator window,
* A file searching window,
* Simple and explicit interface!,
* Brazilian Portuguese, Bulgarian, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French,
German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Romanian, Russian,
Spanish, Swedish and Ukrainian translation languages,
* Written in C and uses GTK+ 2.4 for the GUI.

GQview is an image viewer, that makes navigation of images easy. Images can be
viewed full screen, and a slide show function allows automatic changing of the
displayed image.
GQview is an image manager, with complete copy, move, rename, and delete func-
tions available at the press of a button. Find the right image with the search
feature. Image collectors can free up space with a function that finds duplicate
images.

Ooops - I've forgotten to add SVG support. It is not included by standard. I will add this in the next version.

Like already sayd on Amigaworld.net
I installed GQView and it's a nice program,
unfortunatly it doesnt work with Pentax RAW (pef) files,
or at least it doesnt work with k100d files, it show garbled images.

It doesn't work also with my Olympus C5050Z RAW (orf) files

As these formats are proprietary, there is no guarantee that it works. Pentax and Olympus can change their formats anytime.

I'm afraid, that there is nothing I can do. I only can hope, that GQView will be updated, sorry.

On various pentax forums, GQView on linux is
reported to handle correctly Pentax RAW files,
so it seems that the problem it's on the
AmiCygnix version.

Eit: I just downloaded some RAW files,
and it seems that only Nikon files are in some
way recognized but only thumbnails are visualized,
Canon, Fuji and Olympus are rapresented like
a broken image (an icon with a red X on it),
Pentax files are visualized as garbage data.
I downloaded only relatively old camera files

Edit2: Sorry for all my posting, but after deeper
research it seems that gqview can only display
jpeg images embedded in the raw files and not
the RAW itself, so forget me
Anyway it's strange it doesnt work with Pentax files that has embedded jpeg

Hmm - that's strange. Maybe it is an endian problem. Can you send me an example file for Pentax and Olympus (address is in my profile)? I don't see a chance to fix it without them.

Edit: Where did you download the example files?

BTW: Found out, that GQView uses the same code for Nikon and Pentax.

you can find many RAW files at:
http://www.rawsamples.ch

I think that something are not working in the
embedded jpeg extraction code (but maybe it's
a gqview problem not the AmiCygnix port)
because all the files I tried contains relatively
big jpeg images only Nikons RAW contains
small jpegs

Damn - found the bug. Now all raws are displayed - except the Olympus files. Also SVG support is added now. I think I have to make a new release.
