HP Deskjet 1515 USB printer

Get new printer and try to using it with OS4.1 and uA1c..

For now only can print from NotaPed and from Ced...from any other apps cant print..

Dont know is possible to make this printer working on OS4..

Only what i try download PhotoSmart driver from Os4Depot and make USBPRT: file (usbprinter.device) and after this can print from Ced and Notaped..

When try print from AmiPDF (using Workbench printer driver) get this error

GPL Ghostcript 8.54: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1
Ghostscript interpreter exited : unknown error
Errors sending data to interpreter : pipe connection was broken


And try Print from PageStream, FinalWriter no error... Print scala get 100% but no action on printer..

If anyone know possbile solution, please help. Thanx.

I use photosmart.driver and the usbdevice.device
All works fine.
I config printer and printer graphics. With only printer configured, my graphics programs like DrawStudio or ImageFx hangs the Amiga.

I config to max density, so I can select any density when printing, If not config the density or left in the minimun then hangs.

But the better option it's Turbo Print, works fine.

What printer do you have?

And which driver using in TurboPrint? The same what using for wb prefs?

The printer is a HP Photosmat 5520.

Yes, select photosmart in TurboPrint prefeences.
