Solved again.

It seems that the umpowering the PSU for a while (after resetting the psu) solved the problem.

I'd replace the PSU with a good quality lower power one. I had the same issue with my old Samflex@800 and replacing the PSU with much lower powered one solved my problem. Also seen cases where the SATA cables needed to be reseated or replaced.
