Can my X5040 search for available networks?

The community in which I live has an "enterprise" organization of Internet support.

However, they support only Windows, Macintosh, and perhaps Linux. I wonder if it is possible for my X5040 running OS4.1FE to "hitchhike" on an existing connection, using it as a hotspot.

Does anything think this is possible? I can't find a way with OS 4.1FE to even search for available networks. Is there one/

you can get TpLink Nato router or something like that..

(NutsAboutAmiga)

Yes, a "portable router" was included, which was weak.

A friend gave me a stronger one, which seems much better
