I scanned this image off the last (and possibly greatest ever issue of Total Amiga Magazine)

Thanks for the kind comment about Total Amiga 26, I'm glad you liked it!

However I feel I have to point out that you should not publish scans of any part of Total Amiga without getting our permission.

I realise this is an advertisment, but its copyright is still owned by ACube. While they may be quite happy for it to be spread far and wide, it should not be republished without getting their permission.

I' d like to know if there are tutorials available for this graphic program..

I am using Photogenics 5.0

There's a tutorial on using layers in Photogenics 5 in Total Amiga issue 13.

We also ran a 2-part series on ehancing digital photos in issues 16 and 17 which included information on using Photogenics 5 and a number of other Amiga packages.

The later two issues are available for free download from our web site. Issue 13 is still availble to purchase. Further details are on the back issues page:

anyone else interested in learning how to program on the amiga?

I'd also be interested in attending. I would also prefer a weekend, but I could probably do a weekday given a reasonable amount of notice.

Thanks for making the effort to arrange this,

I think everyone in North America is still waiting.

I'm afraid that seems to be the case. I haven't yet heard back from Greg yet, as soon as I do I will let everyone know what's going on.

Sorry for the delay and thanks to all our North American readers for their patience,

Anything special we havn't read online?

The full contents list is on our web site here:

http://www.totalamiga.org/issue25.html

Pretty much everything in the mag is written exclusively for Total Amiga, we try very hard not to just repeat what you can find on web sites. If you want to see the type of articles we publish before buying a copy why not download some PDF back issues from:

http://www.totalamiga.org/backissues1.html

We've recently added a PDF of issue 22 which is fairly recent (end of 2005).

Are you located in the US or Canada?

Those copies are printed separately from the rest. Still haven't heard if they've even been printed yet.

I understand from Greg who organises the printing and distribution for the USA and Canada that they were printed immediately before Christmas. I've e-mailed him about the posting, as soon as I get a reply I'll post an update here.

Sorry to keep you waiting,

If you're not sure of the status of your subscription, send me a pmail with your name and address and I'll check it for you.

Glad the magazines are arriving this week BTW, it makes all the effort to get them finished and posted worthwhile

I've now updated the list of Amiga dealers stocking Total Amiga on our web site, you can find it on the following page:

http://www.totalamiga.org/buy_distributor.html

If anyone knows of an Amiga dealer who might be interested in stocking Total Amiga either let me know or ask them to get in touch with us.

Is it only available via subscription or also in the local stores?

A few Amiga dealers do stock Total Amiga (there is a list on our web site but it's a bit out of date, I'll try and sort that out in the next few days) but there's not the demand for general distribution to newsagents and local shops.

If you'd like to try the magazine before commiting to a subscription, you can order single issues and back issues from our web site.
