I dont know much about hardware but when I asked about 460 they said the following. The graphics were produced by an onboard chip. They had a sim card slot and ariel for mobile internet. They were running timberwolf on it and i had a play. They also said it would be around the 600 euro mark but it could change depending on economy. The board looked so small as well. My memory is shady as I had a lot of information that day lol.

Ahhh I ment they sold out the stock at the show. I should have been more clear.

Trevor could of done with a mega phone or summit. It seems he was targeting the x1000 at amiga nuttas rather then a wider market. I think they should aim for a wider audience. I also think playing a slow version of quake is really not a good idea from promotion, mabye blender would have been a nice choice. To me the x1000 looked laggy and did not show off any cool new features.

A good thing from A-Eon was the great amiga branded keyboards! A-Eons first commercial product. They sold in PS2 and USB option and amigakit sold out pretty fast http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/693/p190610182802.jpg This should be on the frontpage!

The Sam 460 appealed to me a lot more the the X1000. Found out some cool things about the Sam 460 like the fact it had like a sim card slot and an ariel plug (i think) for mobile internet. I also saw timberwolf working fine on sam 460. When somebody tried to load timerwolf on the x1000 they were told to stop or it will crash the system. Mabye thats just the the software set up.

Overall was a great day, met loads of cool new people and a tired Mikey C (good work man). Not seen that many amigans in one place for a very long time. It was amazing to see Imica, Acube, A-Eon all in one place at the same time. Well worth the trip.

I love it! This case is excellent it looks like a mix between a custom pc, Power Mac and A4000T! Love the amount of harddrive bays you could turn it into a monster set up! Cannot wait to see it in realife in at the 25th anniversary amiga show.

It seems to work in shell :D Is there anyway I can make a small shell script that will simply launch it. Sorry I am rather new to the actual OS never bother to learn it properly.

Hiya I finally joined amigans!

I have been into amigas for years and have around 12 amigas (in parts). I currently have one 1200D with 030 which i am using as my basic classic. I also have a 1200T with 040 and 128mb ram, mediator (and lots more). The 1200T will be my gaming and heavy work machine.

I also have 3x A4000's which I am constantly struggling to get working and when they do work I move them and they break again!

Anyways I have recently got back into the amiga world and was very happy to go to the MAG show in coventry where I met many people and they great Mickey C. I am going to the 25 year amiga show depending on my cash flow.

Hi basically I am creating my ultimate amiga 1200D. I have added classicWb lite which I am finding really useful. I have a rather simple but annoying problem.

I am using a great program provided with classicWb called http://aminet.net/package/util/boot/BBlank its designed to change to border (beyond the overscan) to your background colour. This all works fine and it changes when I double click it.

The only problem is I want this to happen in the start up so I dont have to click it every time. I have tried adding it to Wbstartup and its not running without being clicked. I added it to startup-sequence using C:BBlank and it did not work. I have check the information on the icon and the tooltypes section is blank.

I was wondering if anybody could help me and tell me where I am going wrong as I have not used os 3.1 for years and am very rusty with my knowledge
