Dear fellows. I recently mailed the author of AmiCraft Simon Caras regarding AmiCrafts future. I was and still am a big fan of it and wanted to know if he is still working on it. Sad part that is not the case anymore. I kindly asked him if he would like to share his hard work with us so we might have a chance to learn from him and even make AMICRAFT even greater as it already was. AmiCraft a very nice but yet unfinished Minecraft Clone and the very first Game to support the new Nova3D which brings 3D shaders to the AmigaOS 4.1 platform. So here is his Easter present π to the Community Click: AmiCraft Sources

Congrats! you are NUMBER ONE! The first person in two decades (??) I've seen able to make iFusion work.
So many questions....
Was that on just your A4K 060/CSPPC or have you ever gotten it to work on a NG machine?
iFusion for now only worked on the CyberstormPPCs. Hedeon a good friend of mine made several attempts to make it work on PCI based PPCs. But no luck on this so far. I contacted famous Mac Emulation Guru Jim Drew. In 2015/17 he posted still having the sources to iFusion we need foradaptation to newer Hardware. But recently he told me not to have it but maybe on some sort of tape backup. I even contacted CEO Paul Lesurf of Virtual Programming (VP)and got permission to adapt it as his company donβt do Amiga Stuff anymore. So if Jim finds the Sources we are allowed to adapt an maybe have the opportunity to have it on PCI PPCs or even stronger X1000/X5000. @pjsQuote: pjs wrote:@zerec
Where did you get the magical v16 Warp lib from? Is it still available?
That is not so complicated. It is on the original iFusion πΏ. @pjsQuote: pjs wrote:@zerec
When it ran, was it really stable, usable and did it take advantage of the host machine's powers - memory, higher res, higher palette depth, network, etc?
Yes it was stable an it had the following features: iFusion is an iMac emulatior for the Amiga. The current specification is as follows: * Support for up to 2 Gb of physical/Virtual memory * Supports AHI * Support for Hardfiles, CD-ROM drives and Partitions * Keyboard/Mouse support * Support for floppies and removable media * Support for Apple's built-in virtual memory * Supports on-the-fly switching with supported graphics systems (CyberGraphX * Support for 0S8.6 through 0S9.1 * Runs directly from Mac OS CD - no external ROM image required System Requirements: * WarpUp v16 (Supplied on the CD) * PPC card with at least 64Mb of RAM. * Cybergraphics v3 or later ** iFusion will currently not run on a BlizzardPPC due to an incompatibility with WarpUP/BlizzardPPC. This is being investigated by Haage & Partner/Sam Jordan.

@pjs Well I bought iFusionPPC. And it worked on my A4000/CSPPC233MHz. You needed the latest iFusionPPC Updates (1.3) and a special PowerPC.library (WarpUp V16) that used undocumented features. I was able to successfully test Lightwave3D 7.5 on it and it rendered very fast compared to my original Lightwave3D 5 Setup on my 060.

Hi ππΌ. Yes I will be there and I do appreciate your offer. Iβll bring my Sam460ex to the show.
Maybe itβs a good finding that at least two original SAM460EX with onboard gfx rendered dead after upgrading with newest 2015b uboot. While Update processs returned no errors and confirmed to do a reset after cdrom media removal.
Maybe you nice guys @ acube need to investigate?
Thanks for your support looking forward to the awesome Amiga38 show.

SAM460EX going black screen after official uboot2015b update

Dear Amigans. I got stucked. Last weekend I finally found time to build up my SAM460EX with 502 GFX onboard. I unpacked the uboot 2015b archive I bought from ACube Shop and went to OS4.1 to find out the corresponding clock my Sam had. So it showed me 55MHz. After that I chose the update_460_2015b.iso and burned with 1x speed the .iso to a CD. After that I put in the CD and first changed boot order to SIL3114 sata_DVD. The ubootupdater immediately kicked in with a minimalistic menu after choosing ubootupdater it erased and after wrote the new uboot without any problems. After removal of CD and reset/power off the SAM seems βdeadβ. But at least on Mainboard power led showed green and there is a row of leds where now after uboot update only one (the last in the row when you look at it) is shining in green. No vga/hdmi output either on onboard 502 or on Radeon pci/pci-e after update. Blackscreen an no fancy new uboot Menu Is it bricked? Any Ideas π‘ ?

Elite2 Frontier Benchmark for Amiga possible?

Hi Guys & Gals. I was wondering if this could be easily done for Amiga. What I found is a quiet cool project done for the Atari ST Using Python3 to patch the shareware version of Elite2 Frontier Atari ST Version. It transforms the awesome Intro-sequence into a little Benchmark application to measure speeds on different setups. I would love to see this for Amiga too. But Iβm not the programming type of guy (what a shame I know π
). Here is the source I found: https://github.com/dh219/FrontBenchWould be cool if you could have a look π and maybe do bit of magic π«Ά

What an awesome attempt Mate! Really looking forward to what you might achieve in your next releases.
Maybe Daniel could help you regarding OGLES2 π€
Could you please have a look into the SEGA SATURN part too (after PSX of course π
)?
This would be an Amiga first if you could get that one to work. Saturn is IMO one of the best 2D Platforms out there. Fantastic Games on it.
Thanks for your efforts ππΌπ
