As easy as plug your iDevice. Start redsnow and folloe instructions juts to get Cydia app on your iDevice (no changing baseband or other thign, juts jailbreak to have cydia)

Maybe some fonts that uses LodePaint are missing with upd3 ¿

Just dl'ed LodePaint and unarchive it to RAM and everything went fine, it opens a window on my 1280x1024@32 screen and works fine.

Can you post a screengrab? Maybe some SOBJS: missing too

Did you try to laod without Startup-Sequence (Early Menu Startup)?

Maybe some prefs file got corrupted, or maybe your dl upd3 is currupted, try to Dl again and unarchive using UnArc.

just searching a little more i found:
Far from being "universal", it is actually proprietary and is incompatible with OHCI. Intel and VIA controllers generally use UHCI, while other vendors use OHCI.

...OHCI (e.g. OHCI is common on add-in PCI Cards based on an NEC chipset).

Maybe upd2 UHCI/OHCI drivers doesn't support quite well PCI USB cards. They will be more advanced/compatible in upd3 (hope so).

Just for the next update could you use xdelta3 (os4depot) to create the .patch file it's waaaay faster than GPatch (m68k)

example:

to reate .patch file:
xdelta3 -s ffmpeg_ppc ffmpeg_altivec ffmpeg.delta

to "create" ffmpeg_altivec from ffmpeg.delta:
xdelta3 -d -s ffmpeg_ppc ffmpeg.delta ffmpeg_altivec

I dd get that string and it was the .info files from Resources dir i deleted, once restored/copied NS3 worked again fine.

These are the .info files from Resource/ dir:
AdBlock.css.info
amiga.css.info
default.css.info
Quirks.css.info

That was my case!!! And yes i did a manual installation

Try PaybackSetup and set to use 'Hardware rendering disabled'

IIRC i had same issue and solved it but can't remeber how ?:-/ maybe it was something with the CDROM device set on payback.config

If you want i can send you my payback.config PM or maybe you can "hack" yours by hex-editing and changing the cd device (A1 a1ide.device) to use Sam's sata device or changing to a foo.device.
